The Midwife Supervisor leads clinical care and staff performance in a mobile outreach setting, ensuring high‑quality maternal and child health services through supervision, quality assurance, and training.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate midwives, assistants, and support staff
- Plan and organize staffing schedules and clinical activities
- Ensure adherence to MSF protocols, hygiene standards, and infection control
- Oversee pharmacy stock monitoring and medical equipment maintenance
- Maintain accurate patient records and compile monthly reports
- Provide training, mentoring, and supportive supervision on SRH topics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage emergency referral boxes
