Responsibilities
- Source and procure pharmaceutical products and medical supplies
- Prepare purchase requisitions, orders, and documentation
- Evaluate and maintain relationships with approved suppliers
- Negotiate prices and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Follow up on delivery of medicines and supplies
- Verify product quality and expiration dates
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information
- Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and pharmacy departments
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and organizational policies
- Monitor market trends for purchasing decisions
