Senior Finance Officer responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, preparing reports, managing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and IFRS, strengthening internal controls, and supporting project finance activities in a mining environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily accounting and financial operations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes for project operations
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support management decisions
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and IFRS standards
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities
- Strengthen internal control systems and financial procedures
- Support project finance activities for site operations
- Provide financial guidance to operational and project teams
