About the Role

The Shot Firer is responsible for preparing, executing, and supervising blasting activities at the Kumruk Gold Mine, ensuring compliance with legal, statutory, and HSE standards while maintaining safety and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute blasting operations in compliance with statutory, legal, and Maxam HSE requirements
• Select appropriate accessories from magazine based on blast design
• Perform priming, pumping, stemming, and timing design
• Approve blasts after safety checks
• Conduct inspections and ensure area safety post-blast
• Complete administrative reporting
• Supervise blasting assistants and MMU during operations
• Handle unacceptable behavior and report serious offences
• Allocate housekeeping tasks to the team
