The Assistant Admin and Finance Officer supports daily financial and administrative operations in MSI Ethiopia’s program office, ensuring accurate payment processing, procurement compliance, and effective record-keeping to uphold donor and internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Process payments to vendors, staff, and partners
- Prepare payment vouchers and supporting documentation
- Verify invoices, receipts, contracts, and purchase orders for authenticity and compliance
- Maintain organized financial filing system
- Reconcile petty cash and bank activities
- Assist in monthly closing and budget variance reporting
- Support audit preparation
- Handle procurement requisitions, RFQs, PO creation, vendor quotations, and delivery tracking
- Provide general office administration support (supplies, correspondence, scheduling)
- Manage staff travel requests and claims
- Maintain asset register and inventory records
- Perform HR-related time sheet and tax settlement tasks
