The Team Leader serves as the local representative of LWF at the zonal level in Ethiopia, overseeing program implementation, coordination, and management across logistics, HR, finance, and administration while ensuring alignment with donor standards and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate zonal project activities in partnership with the Regional Coordinator
- Manage financial, administrative, personnel, and supervisory functions for all projects in the zone
- Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate livelihood, protection, WASH, and climate action initiatives
- Conduct needs assessments, baseline surveys, market analyses, and feasibility studies
- Develop procurement plans, activity schedules, and budgets
- Collect data, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, and analyze budget vs. expenditure
- Train beneficiaries and staff on thematic areas to build self-reliance and resilience
- Supervise field office staff, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs
