The Travel Administrator manages all aspects of travel logistics for a mining project’s employees and visitors, ensuring smooth arrangements, policy compliance, and cost control while providing excellent service and support to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees, executives, and visitors
- Manage flight bookings, hotel reservations, ground transportation, visas, work permits, insurance
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Handle travel requests, approvals, changes, cancellations, and emergencies
- Maintain accurate travel records, itineraries, expense reports, and audit documentation
- Negotiate cost-effective rates with vendors and manage budget controls
- Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, hotels, airlines, and transport providers
