The Head of Human Resources will lead all HR functions at LionHeart Academy, driving strategic HR initiatives, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and policy compliance to support the school’s mission and international accreditation goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with school goals
- Advise leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for academic, administrative, and support staff
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs
- Manage employee relations and grievance procedures
- Support performance evaluations and staff development planning
- Implement performance management systems
- Identify staff development needs and coordinate professional learning opportunities
- Oversee payroll processes and compensation benchmarking
- Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and compliance with Ethiopian Labor Law
