About the Role

The Senior Purchaser leads the procurement of goods, materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing, supplier management, and adherence to company policies while supporting strategic initiatives and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and procure goods and services in line with company policies
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, orders, and contracts
  • Analyze supplier quotations, proposals, and bids
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate demand planning and inventory replenishment
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing procurement contracts
  • Monitor expenditures against budgets and recommend cost‑saving measures
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and audit requirements
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and performance metrics
