The Food & Beverage Cost Controller manages and analyzes F&B costs to ensure profitability, overseeing inventory, recipe costing, purchasing compliance, and financial reporting while training staff and collaborating across departments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly F&B costs
- Prepare cost reports and recommend improvements
- Oversee inventory control and stock reconciliations
- Develop standard recipe costing sheets and manage menu pricing
- Verify purchase orders and receiving documents
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and wastage
- Support month‑end closing and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Train staff on cost control procedures
