About the Role

The Food & Beverage Cost Controller manages and analyzes F&B costs to ensure profitability, overseeing inventory, recipe costing, purchasing compliance, and financial reporting while training staff and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly F&B costs
  • Prepare cost reports and recommend improvements
  • Oversee inventory control and stock reconciliations
  • Develop standard recipe costing sheets and manage menu pricing
  • Verify purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and wastage
  • Support month‑end closing and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
  • Train staff on cost control procedures
  • Collaborate with chefs, managers, and purchasing teams
