Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

Lead warehouse operations at Kurmuk Gold Mine, overseeing receipt, storage, dispatch, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and staff coordination to support mining activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials
• Ensure proper handling and storage of mining equipment spare parts, consumables, fuels, and chemicals
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support regular stock counts and reconciliation
• Coordinate warehouse activities to ensure timely delivery of materials to operational departments
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and compliance requirements
• Supervise and guide storekeepers and warehouse personnel
• Prepare warehouse reports, inventory updates, and operational performance summaries
• Monitor material movements and ensure proper documentation within ERP systems
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety procedures
