The role delivers comprehensive IT support across a mining operation, managing end‑user devices, servers, business applications, and network infrastructure to maintain operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line technical support across the mine site and office locations
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues
- Log, track, and close incidents through the helpdesk system
- Assist with user account management in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Support system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance
- Provide business application support for ERP, HR, finance, and other operational systems
- Manage hardware deployment, inventory, and asset tracking
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and coordinate with network specialists
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and support cyber‑security initiatives
