About the Role

The Maintenance Planner coordinates maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and workforce productivity at the Kurmuk Gold Mine, managing schedules, work orders, spares logistics, CMMS data, and safety compliance while collaborating with reliability engineers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and adjust short- and long-term maintenance schedules
  • Prepare detailed work orders and resource plans
  • Coordinate spares, materials and external services
  • Maintain CMMS/ERP databases
  • Perform root cause analysis and generate performance reports
  • Plan major overhauls and plant shutdowns
  • Ensure safety compliance and conduct inspections
  • Drive productivity and cost minimization
  • Support team development and training
  • Apply procurement and financial controls
