This role provides emergency medical care and transport for onsite incidents at Kurmuk Gold Mine, coordinating response teams, performing advanced life support procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls such as sudden illness, accidents, building collapses and natural disasters
- Lead and coordinate the team responding to an emergency
- Evaluate patients’ condition on scene and perform preliminary diagnosis
- Provide pre‑hospital simple and advanced treatments (defibrillation, intubation, ventilation, fluid resuscitation)
- Operate critical care equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, oxygen cylinders
- Extricate patients from vehicles or rubble, stabilize them and transport to medical facilities
- Educate the workforce on health and safety issues
- Adhere to medical protocols, legal guidelines and health & safety standards
- Keep abreast of new treatments through continuous training
- Write and submit accurate incident reports
