The IT Maintenance & Field Technician provides hands‑on technical support for the mine’s IT, communications, and security infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of network, radio, CCTV, and access control systems in a remote field environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair IT infrastructure and communications systems across the mine
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and communication failures
- Support radio, satellite, and network cabling operations
- Maintain CCTV, access control, and security monitoring equipment
- Provide end‑user support for desktop and peripheral devices
- Manage asset records and maintenance logs
- Assist with project installations and contractor oversight
- Ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
