About the Role

The Geotechnical Technician monitors mine slopes, collects and analyzes geotechnical data, and supports the Ground Control Management Plan to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of open pits, waste dumps and haul roads
Collect and log geotechnical data from instrumentation such as piezometers and extensometers
Analyze field observations to identify ground instability trends
Prepare regular monitoring reports for operations and safety teams
Support the implementation of the Ground Control Management Plan and risk assessments
