The role supports the planning, delivery, and administration of learning and development programmes for a mining site, ensuring staff are trained, competent, and compliant with Ethiopian labour and mining regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule training programs for employees and contractors
- Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation
- Support regulatory compliance with Ethiopian labor and mining requirements
- Facilitate induction and technical training sessions
- Assist in competency-based training systems and needs analysis
- Develop workforce localization initiatives and mentorship programs
- Ensure safety culture through training and awareness campaigns
- Compile reports, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
