Oversee all accounting functions for the company’s import and retail vehicle business, ensuring tax compliance, accurate financial reporting, and efficient cash and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle accounting for import and retail operations
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Tax Code (VAT, withholding tax, income tax)
- Prepare and file tax returns and financial reports
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, inventory records
- Process import financial documents such as customs duties and letters of credit
- Produce monthly, quarterly, annual statements and management reports
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Ensure proper documentation for all transactions
