About the Role

The Business Development Officer is responsible for uncovering new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable growth through strategic partnerships, market intelligence, and high-quality proposal development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Monitor tenders and RFPs from government agencies, NGOs and donors
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential projects
  • Build and sustain client relationships
  • Coordinate proposal preparation and submission
  • Collaborate with technical teams for competitive proposals
  • Support contract negotiations and finalization
  • Track proposal success rates and business performance
  • Prepare regular business development reports
