About the Role

The role preserves employee information by managing archival records, providing reference services, and ensuring secure handling and preservation of historical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Organize archival records and develop classification systems
  • Acquire and process new archival materials
  • Maintain document records and catalog cards
  • Check items in/out of archives and remove outdated items
  • Provide reference services to users
  • Prepare descriptive records for easy access
  • File documents into Official Personnel Record folders
  • Preserve records through copying to film, disk or computer formats
