About the Role

The Coffee Quality Control Officer ensures all stages of coffee processing meet stringent quality standards, maintaining accurate records, monitoring fermentation and drying, and identifying any quality deviations to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Document incoming red cherries and dry cherry purchases
  • Maintain records of coffee types and processing methods
  • Monitor fermentation and drying processes
  • Calculate mass balance at each stage
  • Identify and report quality issues throughout production
  • Ensure equipment and storage areas are clean
  • Verify moisture content and standard ratios
