About the Role

The Animal Nutritionist develops and manages feeding programs for ORO-Meat’s livestock operations, focusing on maximizing yield, ensuring animal health, and reducing costs through evidence-based nutrition strategies.

Responsibilities

Design balanced rations for various species and growth stages
Optimize use of local ingredients to control costs
Oversee feed procurement, storage, and quality control
Track feed conversion ratios and animal performance data
Collaborate with veterinary team on nutrition-related disorders
Develop mineral supplementation and hygiene protocols
Conduct on-farm trials to improve efficiency
Provide training to farm supervisors and staff
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian regulations and export requirements
