The Category Buyer supports the Category Manager in sourcing materials and services efficiently, engaging suppliers, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring costs, and maintaining accurate procurement records to drive cost savings and operational excellence within the brewing business.
Responsibilities
- Execute purchase orders and supplier follow‑ups
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance
- Ensure contract compliance in daily transactions
- Track spend and support cost‑saving initiatives
- Collaborate with brewing, packaging and operations teams for quality assurance
- Monitor supply risks and report issues
- Maintain procurement records and provide reports
- Coordinate with finance, logistics and operations to align activities
- Suggest process improvements
