Responsibilities
- Review loan applications and supporting documents
- Interview applicants and assess creditworthiness
- Prepare loan contracts and disbursement instructions
- Analyze financial statements and business plans
- Conduct macro/microeconomic analysis
- Ensure collateral adequacy
- Interpret results for approval committees
- Compile credit data for reporting
- Recommend policy improvements
- Monitor repayments and non‑performing loans
- Advise borrowers on performance
- Prepare periodic borrower reports
- Coordinate foreclosure procedures
- Develop portfolio concentration limits
- Conduct loan pricing studies
- Maintain customer credit database
- Submit reports to the National Bank of Ethiopia
