The Manager of Accounts Division oversees all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective internal controls while leading a high-performance accounts team.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily accounting workflows to ensure accurate real-time recording of all financial transactions
- Maintain the General Ledger, execute month-end closing procedures, reconcile balance sheets, and consolidate financial statements
- Oversee payables and receivables, monitor cash collections, and provide financial insights to Budget & Treasury
- Manage fixed asset lifecycle including depreciation and tagging; oversee payroll processing
- Enforce institutional policies and NBE regulatory standards; liaise with auditors
- Generate high-level management reports including expense analysis and budget variance insights
- Supervise and mentor the Accounts team, implementing performance management and staff upskilling
- Identify and implement strategic process improvements to streamline accounting workflows
