The Head of Financial Control & Operations manages all financial functions—from day‑to‑day accounting to treasury and payroll—while building a high‑performing finance team that supports executive decision‑making and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
- Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes accurately and on schedule
- Maintain financial record integrity and IFRS/ Ethiopian standards compliance
- Lead treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Handle end‑to‑end payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee cost accounting for construction projects, tracking budgets vs actuals
- Design and implement internal control frameworks across finance operations
- Coordinate statutory and external audits, acting as primary liaison with auditors
