The Junior Finance Officer/Accountant supports the hospital’s financial operations by managing patient billing, insurance claims, and general ledger activities while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting. Responsibilities
- Verify patient payments and financial transactions
- Update accounts receivable/payable and issue invoices
- Assist in preparing balance sheets and income statements
- Review expenses, payroll records, and other financial data
- Maintain accurate financial databases
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and month‑end closing
- Forecast cash flow, manage budgets, and reconcile bank statements
