The Finance Officer manages day‑to‑day financial transactions in the Harar field office, ensuring accurate payment processing, cash management, reconciliation, and compliance with IRC’s financial controls while supporting staff development.
Responsibilities
- Verify payment requests and supporting documents
- Ensure payments are processed in Integra after approval
- Conduct three‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders and receipts
- Monitor cash operations and perform daily cash counts
- Reconcile bank statements weekly
- Maintain financial records on Integra and upload documentation to Box
- Provide training on IRC financial policies to new staff
