The Health & Nutrition Officer oversees the delivery of health and nutrition services in emergency settings, providing technical support to field staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with national and IMC standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality implementation of health and nutrition services
- Support specialist in project activities
- Provide technical support to health workers
- Coordinate with field M/E, finance, logistics, HR and admin teams
- Facilitate training workshops and meetings
- Ensure linkage with other project components (livelihood, WASH, disaster prevention)
- Supervise and monitor interventions at sites
- Prepare regular progress reports
- Represent IMC in cluster coordination meetings
