The Finance Officer oversees all financial operations of the Field Office program, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and internal policies while managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, reporting, and audit preparations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily program-wide finance and accounting functions including payroll, cash management, and bank reconciliations
- Plan and implement financial operations systems in line with International Finance Manual and donor regulations
- Prepare monthly pipeline processes, procurement tracking, and budget amendments
- Coordinate with program teams for payments, procurements, and audit preparations
- Maintain and reconcile financial reports for donors, government bodies, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee VAT reporting, cash flow planning, and weekly/monthly cash flow preparation
- Train and coach finance staff in the country office
