The Finance Officer (III) will lead Ethiopia’s finance and administration functions, managing budgets, audits, grants, and staff while ensuring compliance with AGRA policies and donor regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting for Ethiopia
- Prepare periodic finance reports and account reconciliations
- Resolve invoicing and accounting discrepancies
- Support annual audit with standard and custom reports
- Initiate and manage budgets and forecasts per AGRA policies
- Maintain fixed asset register and coordinate verification
- Oversee staff providing financial and admin support
- Create journal entries, manage payables/receivables
- Collaborate with HR on financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger balances, invoices, credit card statements
- Plan tax filings and payroll processes
- Streamline finance reporting and budgeting systems
