SALP Class Supervisor

About the Role

SALP Class Supervisors will oversee the implementation of the Structured Accelerated Learning Program in Sidama woredas, providing technical support, mentoring facilitators, monitoring classroom performance, ensuring compliance with quality and safeguarding standards, and coordinating with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SALP class implementation in assigned woredas
• Conduct supervision visits to observe teaching and learner engagement
• Provide coaching and mentoring to facilitators
• Monitor attendance, retention, and dropout cases
• Ensure proper use and distribution of learning materials
• Collect and report timely data, support assessments
• Document best practices and lessons learned
• Represent ISHDO at woreda-level forums and meetings
• Coordinate with education offices, principals, and community leaders
• Facilitate community engagement and parental involvement activities
• Uphold child protection policies and report incidents
