The Dairy Systems Development Officer will deliver on‑the‑ground technical support and capacity building to strengthen dairy production systems, market linkages, and value‑chain performance across selected zones in Oromia and Addis Ababa.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to dairy producers, cooperatives, and youth enterprises on husbandry, feeding, animal health, and clean milk production;
- Facilitate market linkages and strengthen dairy cooperatives and milk collection centers;
- Organize training, coaching, mentoring, and demonstrations for value‑chain actors;
- Collect data, conduct field monitoring, and prepare reports and updates;
- Coordinate with government offices, private sector actors, and community stakeholders to improve service delivery.
