Dairy Enterprise & Market Development Officer/Woreda

About the Role

The role supports on‑site implementation of dairy production, enterprise development and market linkages at the woreda level, providing technical assistance and facilitation to producers, cooperatives and other stakeholders to improve productivity and income.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement dairy production, enterprise development and market systems interventions at woreda level
• Provide technical assistance, facilitation, training, coaching and supervision to producers, cooperatives and other value chain actors
• Promote improved dairy husbandry, feeding systems, animal health practices and clean milk production
• Facilitate business development, entrepreneurship promotion, cooperative strengthening and market linkage activities
• Support women and youth engagement in dairy enterprise through community mobilization and awareness creation
• Conduct field monitoring, data collection, documentation and reporting to the project management team
