The Power Engineer will maintain and troubleshoot telecom power systems across wireless sites, ensuring reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and feasibility assessments while coordinating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly preventive maintenance for DG, AC, SG, AC power systems, and DC power systems via OWS
- Manage end-to-end power-related issues at wireless sites using NetEco
- Handle corrective maintenance activities with timely follow-up and daily reporting
- Prepare and execute monthly preventive maintenance plan for passive infrastructure
- Track and resolve power-related issues until closure
- Participate in customer and subcontractor meetings
- Plan, coordinate, and execute battery testing activities
- Conduct RCA for major power incidents and recommend actions
- Perform power feasibility assessments for Core and BSC sites
- Provide Level II technical support for power systems and equipment
- Coordinate with regional teams, customers, subcontractors, and Huawei internal teams
- Communicate project updates and reports to Huawei HQ and customer reps
- Support subcontractor management, material planning, and equipment verification with CEG and suppliers
- Perform in-depth power system analysis and recommend optimization solutions
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and health & safety regulations
