About the Role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping and laundry functions, ensuring high standards of guest service while managing budgets, staff, and operational processes in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction and monitor trends
  • Manage departmental budgets with cost controls and schedules
  • Set targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures
  • Inspect fixtures, fittings, appliances for compliance
  • Monitor team performance, training and teamwork
  • Ensure staff knowledge of room categories and amenities
  • Maintain communication across hotel areas
  • Cover staffing levels to meet demand
  • Conduct meetings and generate minutes
  • Handle staff performance issues per company policy
  • Assist other departments and manage P&L
