The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping and laundry functions, ensuring high standards of guest service while managing budgets, staff, and operational processes in a hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations
- Evaluate guest satisfaction and monitor trends
- Manage departmental budgets with cost controls and schedules
- Set targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures
- Inspect fixtures, fittings, appliances for compliance
- Monitor team performance, training and teamwork
- Ensure staff knowledge of room categories and amenities
- Maintain communication across hotel areas
- Cover staffing levels to meet demand
- Conduct meetings and generate minutes
- Handle staff performance issues per company policy
- Assist other departments and manage P&L
