The Accounts Payable Clerk at Hilton Addis Ababa manages invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and financial record-keeping to ensure accurate and timely settlements while supporting hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Record and process incoming invoices and travel costs
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Verify invoice amounts and tax accuracy
- Enter invoices into accounting system and schedule payments
- Manage payment methods including diskette, foreign transfers, and cheques
- Reconcile card transactions with cost control
- Accrue outstanding purchase orders to month-end
- Supervise service and maintenance contract renewals
- Process reminders and monitor discount deductions
- Maintain weekly outstanding items list
- Control petty cash vouchers
- Prepare for internal and external audits
- Archive monthly and annual vouchers
- Work across the Controlling Department as needed
