About the Role

The Accounts Payable Clerk at Hilton Addis Ababa manages invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and financial record-keeping to ensure accurate and timely settlements while supporting hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Record and process incoming invoices and travel costs
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Verify invoice amounts and tax accuracy
  • Enter invoices into accounting system and schedule payments
  • Manage payment methods including diskette, foreign transfers, and cheques
  • Reconcile card transactions with cost control
  • Accrue outstanding purchase orders to month-end
  • Supervise service and maintenance contract renewals
  • Process reminders and monitor discount deductions
  • Maintain weekly outstanding items list
  • Control petty cash vouchers
  • Prepare for internal and external audits
  • Archive monthly and annual vouchers
  • Work across the Controlling Department as needed
