About the Role

Consultant will perform a baseline assessment and develop a MEAL system for the Yayu Coffee Forest Biosphere Reserve Project, delivering mixed‑methods research, reports, and project management services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive baseline assessment of the Yayu Coffee Forest Biosphere Reserve Project
  • Design and implement a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) system
  • Collect field data using mixed methods across 14 kebeles
  • Produce reports in English and coordinate translation to Afaan Oromo
  • Manage logistics for fieldwork including enumerator fees, travel, and accommodation
  • Engage stakeholders and ensure ethical research practices
  • Deliver project outputs within the specified timeline
