The Project Zero Officer leads the day‑to‑day implementation of fistula elimination activities across woredas, coordinating teams, managing data, reporting progress, and ensuring quality delivery of maternal health services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Project Zero activities at Woreda level
- Ensure implementation aligns with approved plans and timelines
- Facilitate coordination among project team, health offices, facilities, and community stakeholders
- Support project management, supervision, data and financial management
- Implement Woreda Improvement Plan
- Conduct awareness, mentorship, surveillance and referral activities
- Prepare activity plans and schedules
- Monitor progress and achieve targets
- Provide baseline, midline, and end line assessments
- Track KPIs and milestones
- Coordinate mentorship with midwife mentors
- Organize trainings, meetings, and learning sessions
- Ensure timely data collection and quality assurance
- Prepare technical reports monthly and quarterly
- Manage logistics, supplies, and equipment distribution
- Maintain project documentation and databases
- Contribute to best practice documentation and knowledge sharing
- Support office setup at Woreda level
