About the Role

The Project Zero Officer leads the day‑to‑day implementation of fistula elimination activities across woredas, coordinating teams, managing data, reporting progress, and ensuring quality delivery of maternal health services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Project Zero activities at Woreda level
  • Ensure implementation aligns with approved plans and timelines
  • Facilitate coordination among project team, health offices, facilities, and community stakeholders
  • Support project management, supervision, data and financial management
  • Implement Woreda Improvement Plan
  • Conduct awareness, mentorship, surveillance and referral activities
  • Prepare activity plans and schedules
  • Monitor progress and achieve targets
  • Provide baseline, midline, and end line assessments
  • Track KPIs and milestones
  • Coordinate mentorship with midwife mentors
  • Organize trainings, meetings, and learning sessions
  • Ensure timely data collection and quality assurance
  • Prepare technical reports monthly and quarterly
  • Manage logistics, supplies, and equipment distribution
  • Maintain project documentation and databases
  • Contribute to best practice documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Support office setup at Woreda level
