The Senior Finance Officer manages the Foundation’s financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit processes while leading a finance team to support sustainable development initiatives across Africa.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for leadership and donors
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, project budgets, and forecasts
- Lead strategic financial planning and scenario analysis
- Ensure compliance with legal standards, tax laws, and donor requirements
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Supervise and mentor finance staff, manage payroll and performance reviews
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, and procurement documentation
