The Sales Engineer will engage with current and prospective clients to promote mechanical engineering products, develop proposals, resolve issues, and identify new market opportunities, ensuring strong customer relationships and sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers
- Research potential customers and gather market information
- Develop clear written proposals/quotations
- Resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently
- Create and manage a customer value plan
- Provide quotations and negotiate terms of agreements
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
