About the Role

The Senior Accountant supports financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing cash flow, ensuring tax compliance, and preparing reporting materials to aid the Finance Manager in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records
• Monitor account balances
• Ensure tax compliance
• Support reporting activities
• Assist Finance Manager with cash flow management
• Execute bank payments and collect statements
• Replenish petty cash and process transfers
• Organize VAT, WHT, pension, and income tax declarations
• Update cost, sales, and stock reports
• Handle tax clearance and VAT refund processes
• Provide on-the-job training for junior accountants
