About the Role

The Senior Accountant will oversee accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within Green Scene Energy PLC, ensuring all records meet accounting standards and supporting the organization’s renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and budgets on schedule
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP
  • Maintain accurate ledger entries, including journal posts and reconciliations
  • Manage fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations
  • Handle tax filings and payroll deductions (VAT, withholding, pension)
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external reviews
  • Provide technical support to junior accountants
  • Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders
