About the Role

The Senior Accountant manages core accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective internal controls for a coffee manufacturing and export business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure statutory compliance (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for group reporting
  • Manage closing processes within deadlines
  • Reconcile cash collections with bank statements
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions
  • Handle import/export transaction documentation and Incoterms application
  • Track goods in transit and inventory ownership
  • Process VAT/GST on imports and export exemptions
  • Maintain accurate accounting of accruals and prepaid freight
