The General Manager directs all aspects of Yekatit Paper Converting PLC’s operations, steering strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and organizational culture to sustain competitiveness in Ethiopia’s paper converting industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead all business functions including production, technical operations, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, finance, sales, marketing, HR, administration, and customer service
- Develop and execute long‑term strategic direction and operational plans aligned with group objectives
- Manage end‑to‑end manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness
- Oversee financial performance with full P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, digital transformation and process innovation
- Maintain strong governance, compliance, and stakeholder relationships
- Lead organizational transformation, talent development, and succession planning
