Provide technical consulting for case‑based provider payment system design and pilot implementation in Ethiopia, overseeing data analysis, training, monitoring and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- Review and revise CBPS implementation documents and training manuals
- Design contracts management systems aligned with case-based payment structure
- Produce standardized training materials for capacity building
- Create dashboards, reports and presentations to inform decision makers
- Build capacity of EHIS staff and pilot hospital personnel on data management and analysis
- Support development of a claims database system
- Analyze actual costs of IPD services and revise tariff rates based on evidence
- Monitor pilot implementation and generate monthly performance reports
- Facilitate MoU status updates with MOH, EHIS and KOFIH
- Present updates to the project steering committee and conduct TWG meetings
- Assess pilot hospitals and recommend policy improvements
- Develop analytical models for tariff setting and financial sustainability
