The Project Officer – Wholegrain Transformation will coordinate capacity building, nutrition education campaigns and stakeholder engagement to support wholegrain transformation projects in Ethiopia, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to GAIN’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen wholegrain processors’ capacity with technical assistance
- Design and deliver nutrition awareness campaigns for smallholder farmers, schools and institutions
- Lead household‑level education campaigns to promote wholegrain consumption
- Manage project activities, track progress and deliverables
- Coordinate project review meetings and prepare documentation
- Consult on course corrections and change requests
- Draft project documentation per GAIN PMG guidelines
- Integrate gender and safeguarding themes into project activities
- Ensure compliance with GAIN policies and best practice standards
