About the Role

The Business Development & Partnerships Coordinator will lead bid processes, develop competitive funding proposals, and identify new donors to secure grants for GAIN Ethiopia’s projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate bid processes to produce high-quality proposals
  • Manage internal teams for project design under tight timelines
  • Track proposal components (narrative, budget, M&E plan, workplan)
  • Identify new donors and funding opportunities
  • Serve as key contact for funder intelligence
  • Collaborate with country teams and technical experts on proposals
  • Write, edit, and shape project proposals
  • Align project design with donor priorities and guidelines
  • Support development of proposal budgets with finance teams
  • Define indicators to measure project progress and impact
