The role directs all academic, administrative, and operational aspects of a primary school in Addis Ababa, driving inclusive education, system modernization, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement to serve 300 low‑income children.
Responsibilities
- Lead academic, administrative, and operational performance for Grades 1–8
- Implement inclusive education strategies and shift to a full inclusion model
- Modernize management, financial, and HR systems
- Transform GCS into a learning organization adapting to Ethiopia’s educational landscape
- Manage human, financial, and material resources in line with policies
- Build local fundraising initiatives to reduce donor dependence
- Chair the Operational Management Team for cross‑department coordination
- Serve as liaison between school, boards, parents, government, and partners
- Integrate national standards with innovative inclusive teaching methods
- Ensure child safeguarding and ethical conduct
