The Cook will prepare nutritious meals for a school feeding program, manage kitchen hygiene and safety standards, oversee food supplies, and support bakery operations within the German Church School in Addis Ababa.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the school’s menu and nutritional guidelines
- Supervise meal planning and food preparation activities as required
- Ensure all food is prepared and distributed hygienically and safely, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, bakery, utensils, equipment, and storage areas
- Monitor food supplies, purchase, and safe storage to prevent spoilage and contamination
- Work closely with kitchen and bakery staff and supervise their work
- Perform other related duties assigned by the administration
